Wonder Afrika was founded in 2011 by Nicholus BBuule Ssenfuma. With his wife Gabriel, they have taken in 46+ children who otherwise would not have a home. Nicholus and Gabriel live every day to give hope to their children. They believe that hope for the future begins with an ever-growing relationship with God through his Son Jesus, They strive to provide healthy food, clothing, shelter, toys, proper healthcare, education, skills training, guidance, and love. They are equipping and training their children to help build a healthy society.

Since beginning in 2011 they have struggled against contaminated drinking water, stolen animals of an income project, flooding that washed away food stores, storms that destroyed their school, evictions from homes when owners sold their properties, and much more. In 2017, We Are R.I.S.I.N.G. built a well at their school. Although it is still being used to serve the community, in 2021, just before COVID, the government told them they could no longer operate the school (on the land they have owned since 2011), because of its close proximity to a military base. That did not deter them (nor We Are R.I.S.I.N.G.). They  recently were able to build a permanent home, through partnership with We Are R.I.S.I.N.G.  They are currently working on constructing/installing a septic tank, a health center, and other structures on their 10-acre plot.

The children and youth range in age from newborn to early college age.

MISSION: To look after the physical and the spiritual welfare of the needy children in Uganda by providing them with basic human needs and by nurturing them with the basic principles of welfare for their own self-reliance in the future.

VISION: A society of self-reliant and responsible human beings who have access to basic human needs and who contribute to the transformation of deprived communities around them.

Angel's Care School is the leading school in academic performance in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement. It was established in 2008 with the sole purpose of providing quality and affordable education to both refugees and national children in the area. We started the school with an enrollment of 35 students and as of now, we have over 990 students.

Vision: to provide quality and affordable education.

Mission: To provide quality and competitive education that will enable the young generation to fit in the global village.

Motto: We aim for excellence.

Objective: To extend quality education to rural children. To render a hand of support to disadvantaged children, giving them access to education. To prepare all young children to meet and overcome the challenges in the global village. To supplement government efforts in uplifting the education standards of the nation in line with policies and initiatives.

Our pioneers are now at the University and one of them was a vulnerable girl supported by Angels Care School, who emerged the best amongst all the refugee girls on the Primary Leaving Examination in all Refugee Settlements in Uganda.

Besides academic performance, the school has other projects in the settlement: *Angels Care Medical Center *making charcoal briquettes out of organic materials *Vocational skills training *Farming *Water project, serving the community *Construction of housing for persons with special needs *Provisions of food and non-food relief in response to COVID-19 impacts.

These are all done to meet the needs of the people in the community, more especially the vulnerable children and orphans.

Angels Care School is a multi-business institution that will continue pursuing its mission and vision through cooperation and partnering with other like minded groups or institutions like non-governmental organizations, schools, churches, local government, international partners at large with which we share our goals and objectives.
