All children deserve love, a home, and education, healthy meals, clean water and sanitation, and healthcare. We partner with community-based organizations (CBOs) in Uganda in building the infrastructure they need to effectively carry out their missions.

The organizations we partner with focus on developing the organizational capacity needed to bring lasting change, but so often it is a struggle for them just to pay teacher’s salaries or provide a meal for their children.

Even though their incomes are limited, the founders of the organizations we partner with have proven their dedication to the children and the communities they serve – they are part of the communities; they know the needs, they are interdependent with their community; local governments and tribal leaders know them.

We cannot think of a better way to serve the children than by strengthening the CBOs that work tirelessly to meet the needs of the most vulnerable children.

We Are R.I.S.I.N.G. has been to Uganda and long before we arrived, the founders were demonstrating their commitment to orphaned children and other underprivileged people. We witnessed the passion of the founders, engaged in the work, laughed, cried, and prayed with leadership and the children, had meals and taken communion with the children and leadership, listened to the stories of the founders of their beginnings and felt deep excitements when listening to their current projects and dreams for the future. We Are RISING is fully committed to the work of our partners in building a future for the children they serve.

A well has been installed Guardians Care Primary School.
It also serves the community of Namasengere in Kapeeka sub-county of Uganda. Such a blessing for the people!
