Education and Vocational Skills

Education is a basic human right. All kids deserve to go to school.

The organizations we partner with strive to see children learning, to improve their future.

But not all schools are at the same level of development. Some schools have cement floors and brick walls. Others are open to the rain and wind, and children more exposed to bacteria or parasite because of dirt floors.

Most schools struggle to keep their teachers. All teachers need to be paid: Teachers with a salary of 150,000 Ugandan Shillings are making about $42 USD per month.

All children need to eat and clean water for drinking and hygiene. The cost of 3 meals a day for one child is upwards of $30 each month - That's posho (kind of like grits), beans, and rice.
